Para este domingo les traigo una gran biblioteca de vídeo tutoriales con temas relacionados a la seguridad informática, en muchos de ellos explican técnicas de seguridad, configuración de servidores, rompen una vulnerabilidad en algún bug, es un excelente recurso para que aumentes tus conocimientos en esta área.

Memorias ExpoDefensa 2009

Durante el desarrollo de la primera Feria Internacional de Ciencia y Tecnología para la Defensa y Seguridad, empresas nacionales y extranjeras no sólo tuvieron un espacio para exponer los más recientes adelantos en tecnologías relacionadas con la defensa y seguridad, tecnologías de información y comunicación, y tecnología militar y policial, sino que además participaron de la rueda de negocios que se realizo permanentemente en Expodefensa 2009.

Así mismo, invitados y expositores pudieron participar del Simposio Internacional que se realizó en el marco de la Feria y contó con destacados conferencistas en aspectos de ciencia y tecnología para la defensa y seguridad, en donde se pudieron conocer de primera mano los últimos desarrollos del Sector Defensa.

Expodefensa 2009 se dirigió a empresarios fabricantes de armamento, blindajes, navíos y embarcaciones, aeronaves, vehículos militares, munición de corto y largo alcance, sistemas de navegación, comunicaciones, integrados de mando y control, protección NBQ y motores terrestres, navales y aéreos.

Igualmente, Expodefensa 2009 abrió sus puertas a desarrolladores y proveedores de sistemas, partes y mantenimiento, sistemas logísticos, simuladores, tecnología de información aeroespacial, de vehículos terrestres y navales, así como para expertos en manutención, diseño, entrenamiento y simulación.

Expodefensa 2009 fue la primera Feria de Ciencia y Tecnología que se llevó a cabo en Colombia y que fue respaldada por el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, las Fuerzas Militares, la Policía Nacional y el Grupo Social y Empresarial de la Defensa – GSED.

El componente más popular construido sobre Netfilter es iptables, una herramientas de cortafuegos que permite no solamente filtrar paquetes, sino también realizar traducción de direcciones de red (NAT) para IPv4 o mantener registros de log. El proyecto ofrecía compatibilidad hacia atrás con ipchains hasta hace relativamente poco, aunque hoy día dicho soporte ya ha sido retirado al considerarse una herramienta obsoleta. El proyecto Netfilter no sólo ofrece componentes disponibles como módulos del núcleo sino que también ofrece herramientas de espacio de usuario y librerías.

En esta ocasión nuestro amigoDinosaurio nos envia una serie de vídeo tutoriales donde nos enseña a instalar, configurar y poner a prueba nuestro firewall con iptables.

El lunes 1 de diciembre de 2008 se llevo a cabo en la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) la 3ª Edición del Día Internacional de la Seguridad de la Información.

Un excelente programa con conferencias magistrales, 4 ponencias de destacados expertos españoles y 1 charla del norteamericano Radia Perlman se llevaron a cabo en esta edición del DISI, el evento fue transmitido en vivo por videostreaming y puede ser visto en diferido en este enlace.

SecurityTube.net es un nuevo concepto de distribución y publicación de vídeos tipo youtube, pero enfocado específicamente a contenido sobre Seguridad de la Información.

El método de uso no se diferencia al de youtube, pues al igual que permite la visualización desde la web oficial, permite además una fácil integración en nuestras páginas web, ofreciendo una pequeña pestaña llamada “Embed Code”, la cual permite generar el código necesario para embeber el video en nuestra página web.

Aunque SecurityTube por ahora se encuentre en fase Beta ya es posible acceder a por lo menos 90 videos categorizados en 4 clasificaciones

1. Coding - Estos videos se centran en la enseñanza de las bases de programación
2. Tools – Se centra principalmente en entender el uso y operación de la herramientas
3. Basics - Fundamentación sobre diversos temas (para novatos)
4. Fun – Un poco más de diversión

El sitio promete, y mucho!!

Actualmente se encuentran trabajando para incluir algunas funciones ofrecidas por su youtube (comentarios, gestión de usuarios)

Ya se ecuentra habilitada la posibilidad de subir nuestro propios videos (Upload Video)
